So, it's my absolute pleasure to introduce my guest today, Matthew Watts, who is Assistant Curator at Tate. And actually, I only recently moved back to Melbourne after living in the UK for a long time, including four years at Tate. I worked on this exhibition for ACMI, taking over for my colleague, Serena Bentley. I'm a curator at ACMI and I'm going to be your host today. ACMI acknowledges that sovereignty was never ceded.

I pay my respects to their Elders past and present, and extend that respect to any First Nations people joining us today. Welcome to ACMI.Tis conversation today is about Light: Works from Tate's Collection, the exhibition that we've just opened.īefore we begin, I'd like to acknowledge the Wurundjeri and Boonwurrung people of the Kulin Nations, on whose stolen land we are meeting today.
