
Please note: The cross section definition of each cable has Local units field to specify the unit the cable parameters are defined in. In addition, the user has the possibility to create and maintain his own cable libraries, either private or public which can be shared over e.g. There is a built-in (default) cable library which provides a selection of pre-defined cable cross section types including the corresponding library of materials. The cable types and the corresponding materials are stored in different cable libraries.


This cable type makes it possible to define cables with an arbitrary cross section. These four types can be arranged in a more complex cable cross section type, the cable groups type. A prerequisite for defining a cable cross section is the definition of the material the cable consist of.
